Through this contract, we provide on-demand access to our full range of services to assist the MIC in reviewing and applying for funding. Under this agreement, we also serve a key role in coordinating stakeholders and provide technical assistance on special projects and initiatives that involve community services, infrastructure, natural resources, energy, and business development.

Omaha Track retained SEE Renewal to assist the organization in assessing abandoned rail lines on Indian lands and making connections with tribal clients who have abandoned and otherwise unused railroads traversing their Reserve. The goal is to assist Omaha Track by facilitating a process by which the organization can meet potential tribal customers and communicate its rail abandonment services and the associated economic benefits related to the specific line.

Hoopa Valley Tribe contracted SEE Renewal to assist the Land Management Commission and Planning Staff in preparing the Hoopa Valley Tribe Land Use Plan. The Plan, developed pursuant to Tribal Code, assesses existing conditions, and designates the proposed general distribution, location, and extent of the land uses within the Hoopa Reservation.

The Pawnee Business Council (PBC) retained SEE Renewal to assist in developing and implementing a long-range infrastructure strategy. The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma Strategic Infrastructure Plan takes a long-range view of what the PBC hopes to accomplish with respect to the Nation’s physical, natural, and human infrastructure in the immediate, short, and long-term. The intent is to direct Tribal resources to priority projects based on the Pawnee Nation’s infrastructure vision and goals.

Economic Recovery Planning (Hopi Tribe)

The Hopi Tribal Council contracted SEE Renewal to facilitate a 3-day State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds work session and to prepare a subsequent technical report outlining the processes and findings. The purpose was to provide information needed to assist the Tribal Council in better understanding the recovery monies, eligible uses for the funds, and to develop funding goals and priorities.

The Metlakatla Indian Community Tribal Council contracted SEE Renewal to prepare the Annette Islands Reserve Integrated Resources Management Plan on behalf of the Tribe. This complex, multi-year planning process resulted in a detailed management framework for conservation, protection, enhancement, development, and use of the Reserve’s resources. The document will guide resource decisions, maximize benefits derived from Tribal lands and resources, and increase access to Tribal education, training, technical assistance, and funding in support of Tribal resource management goals.
